Your safari adventure begins with a morning pick-up from your hotel in Zanzibar. You’ll be driven to Zanzibar Airport for a scheduled flight to Arusha, where your Tanzania Timeless Safaris guide will meet you upon arrival.
From Arusha, you’ll head straight to Tarangire National Park, known for its vast savannahs dotted with iconic baobab trees and for hosting Tanzania’s largest elephant populations. Alongside elephants, Tarangire is home to zebras, wildebeests, giraffes, lions, leopards, and over 500 bird species. You’ll enjoy an extensive game drive with a picnic lunch in the park, soaking in the rich wildlife encounters.
In the late afternoon, continue your journey to Karatu, where you’ll check in at Kankari Lodge. Enjoy a hearty dinner and relax in the cool highland air.
